The room was light and perfect, had smoke detectors for the safety. The bathroom was amazing and it had a hairdryer, terry cloth bathrobes and shower caps for my convenience.

Our stay here was such great, nice base for exploring New York City. We appreciated the location near Manhattan and a subway line in to manhattan, it was central. Again, the hotel was near a dime museum.
The room was filthy.

We loved the hotel and New York City, had 2 good days there. The staff were amicable and attentive and the location was stunning close to the subway. Tried some takeout specials at Chopped & Topped Salads, luckily it was not too far away from the venue.

Overall I liked that IDEAL hotel. Classic style property with functional furniture in the rooms. Fantastic location near Old American Can Factory. Salad bar was nice and well priced. Perfect services too.

Ideal base for a 2-night stay. We appreciated staff and the food, they were very good! The room was reasonably priced. Fourth Avenue subway stop is within a walking distance of the place, some 15 minutes on foot.
